Gregg Meyer, PGA
Director of Golf

Growing up in Bath, PA Gregg attended Northampton Area High School where he played 4 years of golf. Throughout Gregg's career, he has won back to back District XI Titles, 2 East Penn Conference Titles, the State American Legion Junior Championship, and participated in the Pennsylvania State Championship 3 times. Gregg was also named Easton Express-Times Player of the Year both his junior and senior year of high school.

Upon graduating high school, Gregg continued his education and golf career at Jacksonville State University where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management. While at Jacksonville he played 4 years of Division I golf and was a key member of the 1996 TAAC Conference Championship team.

Upon graduating college in 1999, Gregg first pursued a playing career for 5 years. He played on various tours throughout the United States. During that time he played in 2 PGA Tour events as well as competing 3 years on the NGA Hooters tour. Over Gregg's 5 year playing career, he had the chance to compete on a weekly basis with current PGA Tour players such as Zack Johnson, Bubba Watson, Sean O'Hair, Josh Teater and Vaughn Taylor to name a few.

Early in his career Gregg had the chance to work at Lake Nona Country Club and Falcons Fire Golf Club in Orlando, Florida. It wasn't until 2005 that he decided to focus on a career in the golf industry. Gregg accepted a job as an assistant professional at Riverview Country Club where he spent 4 years working in the summers and then during the winter months he spent 2 years in Arizona and 3 years in Florida where he was a Certified Head Instructor for John Jacobs Golf Schools and Advantage Golf Schools. In 2009, Gregg became the Head Professional at Woodstone Country Club. He still continues to keep his game sharp and enjoys playing in local Pocono Pro-ams and Philadelphia Section PGA events. In 2009, Gregg qualified and competed in the PGA National Club Professional Championship in New Mexico. Gregg spent 2018 as the Head Professional at Morgan Hill Golf Club, before returning to Woodstone Country Club in 2019 as the Director of Golf.
Since attaining his "Class A", PGA Membership in 2007, he has continued to grow as a professional through his colleges and educational courses. In 2018 Gregg completed his continued education and achieved PGA certification status. In 2019, he was inducted into the Lehigh Valley Golf Hall of Fame class. Over his career he has had the chance to work and play with some of the top players, instructors and club professionals in the industry. Although these previous experiences have left him with solid tangible skills, his greatest asset is the appreciation he has for the game of golf. On a daily basis, Gregg interacts with members and guests to ensure an exceptional golf experience.

Evan Grube

Head Golf Professional

Evan grew up in Bath, PA and graduated from Northampton High School in 2014 where he was a four year starter on the baseball team and earned all-conference honors his senior year. He then attended Chestnut Hill College to continue his baseball career before transferring to Moravian College. Evan picked up golf at the age of 18 when he started working in the pro shop at Whitetail Golf Club in Bath, PA. He worked there for 2 years before becoming the Assistant Golf Pro at Morgan Hill Golf Course in Easton, PA. Evan worked as the Assistant Pro for one year before being promoted to Head Professional. He worked as the Head Pro at Morgan Hill for a little over 2 years before joining Woodstone. Evan has been at Woodstone for over a year and as our Head Golf Professional, he offers a variety of lessons and programs here at the club. He is a certified fitter with all top brands and knows just how to take your game to the next level. Outside of work, Evan enjoys traveling to bucket list golf courses, spending time with his family and friends, and attending sports games.

Nick Herman

Golf Professional

Nick grew up in Northampton and graduated from Northampton High School in 2018. Throughout high school, Nick primarily played ice hockey. After High School, Nick attended Penn State Lehigh Valley and graduated in 2022 with a degree in Business Marketing and Management. Nick enjoyed to golf in high school but really got involved with golf when he made the college golf team in his sophomore year at Penn State. Nick played college golf for 3 years and received all-conference honors in his junior year. While in college, Nick worked at Morgan Hill Golf Course for 2 year and he then completed an internship at Riverview Country Club where he learned more about the golf industry.

Nick joined the Woodstone team in 2021 as part of our outside golf staff and has recently been promoted to Golf Professional. Nick is a certified fitter and golf club technician. He is always looking to help people improve their game. In his free time, Nick enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching sports, and playing hockey.
